Super Mario Run for Android, Super Mario Run, Super Mario, Super Mario Run (Android) release date, Super Mario Run (Android) price, About Super Mario Run.

So if you can recall very well, Nintendo released the SUPER MARIO RUN some months ago – precisely in december – but it was disappointing for android users as it only was supported on the iOS platform, at that time. However, they released a timeframe when the Android version of it would be ready. But then, against that time, several questions needs to be asked and posed?

When the game app was released for the iOS platform alone, the number of downloads soared higher than normal. It afterwards suffered a major setback as there a were a lot of negative reviews about the game coming from people who have played it first hand. These reviews must have made the game players lost confidence in it.

We do not know why Nintendo resolved to bring this game to the Android users – I don’t know why they released it on ONLY iOS before now. Releasing on Android might have been as a result of their plan to reach a whole lot more audience on the Android platform. It could have also been as a result of the major setback experienced during the December period.

SUPER MARIO RUN (ANDROID) RELEASE DATE, PRICE

If we are to believe what they said in December, Super Mario Run for Android would be released sometime in march. Now, we are in the month of March and keenly expecting the exact date.

If terms and conditions of the iOS would still be taken viable, then the Super Mario Run is partially free, but you’ll need to pay to unlock the full game – the initial download will come with a limited amount of content. Super Mario Run costs £7.99 in the UK and $9.99 in the US.

I don’t know what made the game developers put a price tag on the game, but I’m very sure it was one of the reasons the phone suffered a big setback. Maybe people were feeling that they were not paying enough for the value they will be getting from the game. Well, with people’s review as a yardstick, I think so too.

SUPER MARIO RUN (ANDROID) MARKET ACCEPTABILITY?

Someone said somewhere that Android users do not like paying for value, instead they just like being ordinary – if I were to interpret what was said then. Being ordinary in the sense that most of them do not spend much money on games and apps like the Apple fanboys. Baseline is that “they like free things”.

Now, with a price tag on the Super Mario Run game, would Nintendo be able to convince the numerous Android users they are making it available for to “buy” the game, in the wake of all these bad reviews they have met from the iOS users. So a very big question goes that “would the Super Mario Run for Android be accepted by the entire market”?

Not to also talk about the fact that you’d need an internet connection to play the game too. Too much, I must say.

PERSONALLY?

Based on my personal opinion, I would NOT surely pay a dime to play the Super Mario Run. Call me an Android user, I don’t care. But logically, I think the Super Mario Run is a game too ordinary to be paid for. Seriously. And I’m sure that a whole lot of other Android users think so too. Let us know what you think..

ABOUT THE SUPER MARIO RUN

Super Mario Run plays as a side-scrolling, auto-runner platformer game. The player controls Mario as he automatically runs from left to right, jumping on his own to clear small gaps or obstacles.

The player must tap the touch screen to make Mario jump over larger obstacles. The longer the screen is touched, the higher Mario jumps. Like other side-scrolling Super Mario games, the player must maneuver Mario over gaps, onto enemies, and into coins to collect them. The end goal is for the player to safely get Mario through the level in the fastest time possible.

Replayability comes from collecting all the normal coins and finding special coins in each level. First, the player must find five pink coins, collecting those unlocks five purple coins and finally collecting those unlocks five black coins, therefore it takes at least three playthroughs to collect everything in a given level.
