Infinix mobility has decided to up their game with the announcement to launch two new smartphones into their “Hot” series. The smartphones that are going to be the spearhead of Infinix mobility’s attack in the Nigerian market are Infinix Hot 5 and Infinix Hot 5 Lite.Today, we’re going to be taking a quick look at the specifications of one of these smartphones in person of Infinix Hot 5. Just stay with me.

Infinix Hot 5 has a screen display size of 5.5 inches. The screen display size is more or less the average required in this era of big things. Having an IPS display type, the smartphone has a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Preferably, a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels would have made the screen inch perfect.

The rear camera of the smartphone has an 8MP sensor that’s accompanied with a LED flash. 8MP camera quality is a bit low from Infinix. The camera also has features such as the autofocus detection, HDR and face detection. The front-facing camera has a 5MP sensor along with a flash for the selfies.

Operating on an Android OS, Infinix Hot 5 uses the XOS platform which is based on the latest version of the Android OS, that is, the Android 7.0 Nougat. As the processor, Infinix Hot 5 uses a Quad-core Cortex that runs on a processor speed of 1.3GHz.

The internal memory of the smartphone is pegged at 16GB, also an average requirement for smartphones ruling the smartphone market. The internal memory can also be expanded to 32GB with the use of a micro SD card. The RAM of the smartphone has a 2GB capacity for the smooth running of apps and multi-tasking.

The battery of the smartphone is 4,000mAh. I have to give kudos to Infinix Mobility for making this smartphone have such a large battery capacity. The battery capacity is one that average and heavy smartphone users will find solace in.

Other features of Infinix Hot 5 include the presence of a fingerprint sensor (located at the rear), proximity sensor (located at the top bezel), accelerometer and a light sensor.
