Gionee, the grand masters of batteries have decided to launch a new series known as the Gionee X series. Gionee X1 spearheads the dawn of the series. The smartphone doesn’t have the large battery capacity  that’s familiar to Gionee smartphones. Let’s take a quick look at the smartphone’s specifications.


The display size of the smartphone is 5.0 inches. The smartphone’s display size is small in this era of large smartphones. Its 5.0 inches is accompanied with a 720 x 1280-pixel resolution, for the clarity of texts and icons.The display type is the HD IPS capacitive touchscreen type. The smartphone’s display also has 16M colours.


The smartphone’s rear camera has an 8MP shooter for the taking of pictures. The rear camera has a LED flash for the brightening of images. Features such as HDR, auto-focus and face detection were included in the camera’s setup. The front camera also has an 8MP shooter for the taking of selfies. The front camera lacks a LED flash.


The internal memory of the smartphone has 16GB capacity. This is a large storage capacity and is good enough to store files such as music, documents, videos and images. The internal memory can also be extended to a whooping 256GB with the use of a micro SD card. The smartphone has a 2GB RAM for the sleek multitasking and running of apps.


The smartphone operates on Android 7.0 Nougat. Its user interface is the Amigo UI 4.0. the processor of the smartphone is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 processor. The processor has four cores, that is, Quad-core. The processor runs at a clock speed of 1.3GHz. For the graphics, the smartphone uses the Mali T720 GPU.


The battery capacity of the smartphone is 3,000mAh. The battery type is a non-removable Li-Ion battery. Definitely, this isn’t like the large-sized batteries churned out to Gionee smartphones. However, the battery capacity is averagely okay.


Other features of the smartphone include the availability of 4G LTE with VoLTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor (at the rear), accelerometer, proximity sensor and light sensor. The SIM support on the smartphone is a dual SIM support.
