Twenty Nigerian startups have been selected to partake in the She Leads Africa accelerator program,

She Leads Africa organised another edition of its accelerator program and this time, She Leads collaborates with Guaranty Trust Bank, Cointreau , Work In Progress! Alliance (consisting of Oxfam and VC4Africa)OCP and Intel Corp.

The accelerator program is themed, “2017 SLA Accelerator”. The accelerator program is a means of identifying and providing resources in terms of mentorship, funds and support for early stage startups. The accelerator program will undergo a duration of 3 months. In these three months, the startups will receive intensive mentorship and training from seasoned experts.

The twenty startups that were selected for the accelerator program are below:

Eventplanner.ng – A startup that focuses on linking up event-associated vendors to possible event planners or those that require their services.

Dahrah Global Limited – An agricultural startup that’s involved in farming and the sale of the farm commodities

Meenam Blends– This startup focuses on the processing and packaging of farm produce such as pepper, garlic and onions.

Farm for Gold Venture – Well, this startup is mainly involved in the processing of ginger.

Apples and Berries Paradise – A startup that concentrates on the conversion of fruits into fruit salads, healthy smoothies and fresh juices.

Showplace Nigeria Limited – This startup produces traditionally made ginger root drinks.

Dexterity Logistics – This agency provides online solutions to enterprises and serves as an e-learning platform for software developers.

UrbanErrands – This startup is a lifestyle management startup that connects extremely busy individuals to insured people that are ready to run errands.

KJK Communications Limited – This tech startup helps SMEs to create adequate ICT schemes to push their businesses forward.

Greymate care – Healthtech startup that provides elderly people with caregivers in order to relieve stress from busy professionals in charge of them.

Taeillo – This startup creates exclusively classy African furniture.

Netima Happy Feet – This startup produces elegant footwears.

MMG Creations World – This startup is involved in making hand crafted African and modern jewelry.

After the three months of the accelerator program, the entrepreneurs will pitch their products in November at the Demo Day. They’ll compete for the sum of 2 million naira.
