We wouldn’t know, but there might be a few people still nursing the idea of buying a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 phone, maybe because units have been recalled and the new ones have been certified ‘safe’. But permit me to shock you that just recently, a ‘safe’ Galaxy Note 7 unit exploded on a plane. At Louisville international airport, the Galaxy Note 7 exploded as passengers were boarding a flight which forced a prompt evacuation and caused minor damage to the plane.

A Singaporean battery lab thought it would be wise to do a stress test on the Galaxy Note 7’s battery to learn its limits. Well, you’ve probably guessed the outcome, but if not, you can check out the pictures at the end of this post.

Sometimes, there are things that cannot be fathomed and this series of exploding Galaxy Note 7 units is one of those things – at least for me. To think that the manufacturing giant had to change their battery producers, or reduce the proportion given to the initial producers and this is still happening.

The question on everyone’s lips now is ‘what could have gone wrong with the production of these batteries’? I doubt is Samsung themselves have an answer to that question.

People aren’t safe when using a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, at least one that’s been purchased before September 15. This phrase was something unthinkable before the launch of the smartphone back in August. Now, it’s Samsung nightmare, a stain on world’s biggest smartphone brand.

Since the global recall of the Galaxy Note 7, there have beenquite a few units that exploded, some even injuring people in the process. Even though Samsung issues numerous statements asking customers to exchange their faulty units as quickly as possible or at least power them down, some ignored the company’s call or perhaps the message did not reach them in time.

I can only imagine how people who still own units from the first launch do with their phones. Perhaps they have abandoned it in some place, well, I wouldn’t know.

The fuss here is that, won’t other batteries explode too if pushed to the limit these ‘lab tested’ Note 7 batteries were pushed to? Its sad we do not know the exact pressure applied on it. But what we do know is that it didn’t take long for the phone to overheat and eventually going up in flames completely after more pressure was applied to it.
