South Africa’s Fintech, Enterksekt for the second year running has emerged the winner of the category “Best Mobile Security Technology” at the 2017 Banker Africa South Africa Banking Awards.
The award recognition is yearly and it’s not restricted to any financial institutions in the country. The award recognitions honour and appreciate exquisite performance and excellence in the financial services industry.
The startup, Entersekt is a Fintech startup and has innovations in application security and push-based authentication. Entersekt was kick-started operations in 2008 and is based in Stellenbosch.
Power of digital certificate technology is utilized and merged in the comfort of mobile phones so as to grant absolute protection from internet fraudsters. Financial services companies are provided with services from Entersekt as the startup grants the companies absolute protection from fraudsters online.

Security products from the startup have been patented and they serve protective functions for millions of devices ranging from smartphones to tablets. These products secure sending and receiving money daily. The products functions are guided by regulatory principles.
Not only companies in African countries patronize the services of Entersekt; even companies in North American countries and European countries utilize the services of the startup. These companies have improved company-customer relationships due to the easy-to-use mobile services rendered by Entersekt.

There were five other categories in which other companies came out as winners. The winners of the awards were decided by votes cast by the readers of CPI Financial products and services. The votes were total of 4,000.
