Remember we brought it to your notice that Samsung were intending to refurbish the Samsung Note 7 and re-launch it as Samsung Note FE. Well, this time around, there’s something different about Samsung that we’ll update you with.

The sequel to the famous Samsung Note 7, which is Samsung Note 8 could miss out on the under-glass fingerprint sensor.

The successor of the Samsung Note 7 -the famous smartphone for its explosion- Samsung Note 8 which is expected to be released before the end of 2017 has been said to have a likelihood of missing out on the under-glass fingerprint sensor.

Although, this isn’t to say that Samsung doesn’t know how to make the under-glass fingerprint sensor because industry experts have made it clear that Samsung knows how to make the under-glass fingerprint sensor. However, a Samsung Electronics official revealed the issue surrounding the inability to use the under-glass fingerprint sensor in the device is based on security-related fears.

That’s not the only information about the missing out event, there’s more. Rumors have it that the inability to include the under-glass fingerprint sensor is a result of the device not being able to fathom if you either want to use the phone or you want to lock/unlock the phone. If that’s the issue, I believe it’s worth the “missing out”.

As could be seen from the Samsung S8 flagship, the fingerprint sensor wasn’t put under the glass but was moved to the back. This was as a result of the Korean manufacturer’s inability to place the fingerprint sensor under-glass.

The Samsung Note 8 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch Quad High Definition(QHD) display size and a 2560 x 1440 pixels screen resolution. Its rear camera is expected to feature dual camera resolutions of 12MP and 13MP lens.

The implementation of the under-glass fingerprint sensor still doesn’t limit the awaiting features of the Samsung Note 8. We’ll bring to you more updates as they arrive.
