Introduction Of Iphone 7 And Iphone 7 Plus
Despite the fact that iPhone lovers are still deeply basking in the euphoria of owning an iPhone 6 series smartphones, Apple is months away from introducing the next-generation iPhone 7 and iPhone 7plus. With sales drop of the iPhone 6s at the first quarter of this year, Apple is bent on redeeming itself by getting back on the “food chain” by introducing a new design and features on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7plus.
Tim Cook Talks On Iphone 7 Specifications And Design
From the statement made by Apple CEO Tim Cook, that “We are going to give you things that you can’t live without, that you just don’t know you need today.”, it’s no surprise that the internet is filled with speculations about the designs, specs, features and the release date of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7plus.
Apple are known for their non-changing phone design, a habit that by now must have gotten fans bored and unexcited. Users desire to be wowed and excited is an attribute that has been exploited by other big players like Samsung and Sony in order to put their fans in that constant mode of “Hmmn, I wonder the upcoming phone’s gonna be like”. But maybe, just maybe things might be a bit different in the case of the iPhone 7. Given the rate at which other contenders are making water and dust resistant phones like the Sony Xperia Z and X series, Samsung’s Galaxy S7 and Motorola’s Moto G, there is a likelihood that apple might want to join the diving team by integrating this property in the iPhone 7 and/or iPhone 7plus. The fact that Apple has applied for a waterproofing-related patent titled “Electronic Device with Hidden Connector,” is suggestive to that effect. The patent description entails the use of “self-healing elastomer” which could allow the penetration of headphones or USB connectors and reseal itself after their withdrawal.
Another fascinating possibility is the removal of the signature home button. The iPhone 7 might be a buttonless due to the innovative 3D Touch screen and always-on hands-free functionality of Siri. Other features predicted of the iPhone 7 are the omission of the 3.5mm headphone jack to be replaced by an all-in-one Lightning connector, and the tap-to-pair NFC capability, allowing the pairing of a headphone or speaker via Bluetooth by simply tapping to the phone.
Iphone 7 Illustrations
It’s finally a great relieve to see a legit information about the actual design of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7plus, such as the digital drawings of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7plus were leaked few days ago showing two-dimensional illustrations of what the upcoming iPhones would look like.
Deductions from the leaks, however, show that the iPhone 7 might bear an uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 6 with the larger iPhone 7 plus having a dual camera and lacking a standard headphone jack. In spite of this slight disappointment, iPhone users should look forward to next year which marks the 10th anniversary of Apple’s first iPhone model and an introduction of the 2017 iPhone model, likely to be called iPhone 7s o iPhone 8. According to a recent episode of John Gruber’s The Talk Show podcast, the iPhone 7 successor would feature impressive features like the edge to edge display, touch Sensor and front camera embedded in the display, and even speakers and sensors also embedded in the display! All I can say to iPhoners is “The Best Is Yet to Come”.
