Nokia Corporation, popularly called as NOKIA, is multinational communications and information Technology Company based in Finland, Nokia is headquartered in Espoo, Uusimaa, and Helsinki. Nokia dominated the tech market in the last two decades with their variety of mobile java phones, Symbian phones, digital cameras and more. But ever since the introduction of android smartphones, the company has failed to thrive in the smart technology market.
Latest news and leaked information tells us that the company are planning to overturn the smartphone market like they once did, although the company’s CEO Rajeev suri, has not revealed any statement to confirm this but if it’s true, am sure going to get myself one of this phones.
HMD Global Oy is currently working on two Android smartphones that will be released under the Nokia brand name. HMD Global Oy is also a Finnish company headquartered Helsinki, Finland, will in the future develop mobile devices under the “Nokia” brand. It announced on 18 May 2016 that it purchased part of the feature phone business of Microsoft Mobile; the company was founded after Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia’s original mobile phone business in 2014.
“HMD has been founded to provide a focused, independent home for a full range of Nokia-branded feature phones, smartphones and tablets. HMD’s new smartphone and tablet portfolio will be based on Android, uniting one of the world’s iconic mobile brands with the leading mobile operating system and app development community”
The two mobiles which have leaked are likely to feature a 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch displays. The report says both the devices will have OLED display with Quad HD resolution. The two phones manufactured by Foxconn will run on Android 7.0 Nougat based on Nokia Launcher Z with IP68 certification. They will also feature AMOLED display panels with QuadHD resolution. Both phones are to be powered by Snapdragon 821, an updated version of 820, this phones will be getting the latest processors available, the sensors on both devices are likely to be the “most sensitive ever and will be based upon Nokia’s extensive research on wonder material Graphene.”
The actual release date and location of this devices are not certain, but we‘ll keep you posted of this definitely.
