Lovers of anything Nokia should get ready for a juicy touchdown of another masterpiece from Nokia. The Finnish OEM – Nokia launched another smartphone to continue its Android era. The Nokia 8 is the latest smartphone off Nokia’s block. Possessing impressive features such as the unique “bothies” feature provided by the camera and a dual camera setup, the smartphone aims to seize the camera feature as a new attack weapon in the smartphone battle field. Let’s quickly take a look at the core specifications of the smartphone.

The display size of the Nokia 8’s touchscreen is 5.3 inches. Well, seeing this display size could make you think the smartphone display size is just average, but I’m glad to tell you that’s not the case. Its display resolution is 1440 x 2560 pixels, showcasing supreme clarity of texts and icons. The touchscreen also has an endowed pixel density of 554 pixels per inch (ppi). It’s screen to body ratio of approximately 69.4%.

The camera of Nokia 8 has what you can call a very amazing feature. This feature is the “bothies” feature. The feature allows the user to capture images both from the front camera and the back camera at the same time. You might ask how this can be done, I’ve got you covered anyways. The images that are ready to be taken from the rear camera and the front camera appear on the screen in a split format, that is, one half of the screen portrays the rear camera’s intended shot while the other half showcases the front camera’s intended shot. The rear camera has a dual camera setup, both comprising of 13MP camera sensors. There’s the presence of a LED flash for the brightening of images. The front camera has a 13MP shooter for the capture of selfies.

The Octa-core Qualcomm MS8998 Snapdragon 835 processor processes the operations on Nokia 8. It runs on the Android v7.1.1 Nougat.

The storage unit of the Nokia 8 is very much impressive. In the internal memory category, the device has two variants – 64GB and 128GB. There are also two variants based on its RAM, the 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM, for the sleek multitasking of apps.

The smartphone uses a non-removable 3,090mAh Li-Ion battery. The battery is good for both light and average smartphone users.
