It would be safe to say phone manufacturers are on a phone launching spree, if recent launches are put into consideration. The Dubai based phone maker has released a new smartphone – low range – called the Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE.
With innjoo’s history, they have been known to produce cheap phones. Well except they have changed their business model, which is unlikely, Innjoo do not make any profit off their smartphones. Instead, they choose to sell them at production cost and make money from apps and services – so relax.
The Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE could be termed as a reply to the newly released Tecno W3 LTE. As you would notice below, the specs are either same or a little superior to that of the W3 LTE. The only thing that might influence user’s choice between these two is their loyalty (of which Tecno would thrive on), or for some, their budget.
Before you make your own choice, let us take a look at some things you might need to know. Stay with me.

DESIGN & DISPLAY
The Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE comes with a thrilling 5.5 inch display which are even larger than some ‘medium range’ phones that are pegged at 5 inch. It has a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels (267 PPI), and is of the IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen type. There has been a rampant talk and interest in phones which comes with a fingerprint sensor, but you don’t expect this to be one of those phones, do you? The only sensors it has are the usual Light, Accelerometer, Proximity and Compass sensors.
MEMORY AND PERFORMANCE
To be honest, I’m disappointed the Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE has a 1 GB RAM – at least a 2 GB RAM would have been appreciable. Some phones within its range has that. Aside that, the internal storage is put at 8 GB, but they figured that might not be enough for you, so with a microSD card, the storage can be expanded up to 128 GB for you to make use of. For its Tecno counterpart, the storage can only be expanded up to 32 GB. Innjoo responded very well here.
For the selfie kings, queens and freaks, the Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE comes with a rear camera of 8 MP, autofocus and a LED flash. It also comes with a 5 MP front facing camera. This sure would do to capture lovely moments, but to be honest, they could have done better. But why should we complain, Tecno’s primary and secondary camera is 5 MP and 2 MP respectively.
The Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE has a Dual SIM – Micro-SIM, dual stand-by – and as you would expect, it supports the 4G LTE function. Well, with 4G services been rolled out by Telecommunication companies in Nigeria, I think this phone is a deal. I know you think so too.
Moving on, the Bluetooth is of the version 4.1, WiFi: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot and then a microUSB version 2.0.
SOFTWARE & HARDWARE
As expected, Innjoo Fire 3 Air LTE runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow operating system with a Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor type. The dimensions of the phone are 76.4 x 150.2 x 8.2 all in mm and might come in Gray, pink and gold colors.
The battery is 3000 mAh which is very commendable compared to the poor 2500mAh which came with the Techno W3 LTE. My only concern is Nigeria’s very poor power supply which might stand as a barrier to enjoying a very long relationship with the phone. You would anyway, do well to get your self a lasting power bank once PHCN pulls their stunts.

INNJOO FIRE 3 AIR LTE PRICE IN NIGERIA
The price of this innjoo phone is around 27,000 – 30,000 in naira. To me, I think it is a fair price, and it would surely compete with other phones of the same range. But then, we are entitle to our very different opinions. What do you think about this phone?
