Fero smartphones produced by Fero Mobile is nothing strange to the Nigerian market. Although their popularity isn’t up to the level of Infinix and Tecno, it can’t be argued that they’ve been consistent in the market with the variety of smartphones launched into the Nigerian smartphone market since the beginning of the year. Fero A5005 has now joined the shortlist of smartphones launched by Fero Mobile. Fero A5005 sports interesting features such as its 5.0 inches display size and 8GB internal storage.

The display screen of Fero A5005 has a size of 5.0 inches with the screen display type being the FWVGA TN capacitive touchscreen. The 5.0 inches display size is considered average at the moment considering the rate at which large display screen sizes are pumping into the phone market now. Evolution is a beautiful thing, I have to admit again. The pixel density of its display is 480 x 854 pixels. The screen of the smartphone has the protection of Dragontrail Glass at its disposal.

Fero is getting very poor remarks in this area. The rear camera has a 3.2 MP as well as a LED flash. 3.2MP is just too low for smartphones in this generation. At the front of the device, a 1.2MP camera is located for the selfie images.

The battery capacity of the Fero A5005 is 2,300mAh. It’s a really low battery powered device, I must confess. Low power consumers of smartphones can make use of this without having much complaints. It isn’t one I’ll advise an average user or a heavy user of smartphone to get.

The RAM of Fero A5005 might make you want to spew as it is only 512MB. Just think of how the apps will easily hang once the RAM is full. The internal memory of the Fero A5005 brings up something beautiful that will make you ignore some of its shortcomings. The internal memory is pegged at 8GB for the storage of files such as music, photos, videos and documents.

Other features include: dual core processor with a processing speed of 1.2GHz, Android v4.4 Kitkat that serves as its operating system.
