When smartphone makers launch an upgrade to one of their devices, they usually add something remarkable to the latest release or upgrade major parts of the phone like the battery, RAM, ROM to a better quality. ASUS is not left out of this as they have released an upgrade to the ASUS Zenfone Go 4.5, and this one is called Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE.

As you would notice in the name, the major upgrade here is the presence of the LTE. The Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE would support the 4G LTE network. I guess smartphones are not willing to take any chances with the 4G LTE as most new smartphones now support the 4G LTE network except for some not too impressive ones.
TECHNOLOGY AND DESIGN
When we want to talk about this, the first thing we’re going to highlight is the 4G LTE. This Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE now supports the 4G LTE network. It runs on an Android operating system v6.0 Marshmallow with ZenUI and has a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with 1.3 GHz speed.
On it looks, the Asus Zenfone Go LTE is built with a Metal aluminium design and measures 66.7 mm in breadth * 136.5 mm in length * 3.6 mm in thickness while it weighs 132 g. It has a 4.5 inches screen size with 854 * 480 pixels (HD) resolution. If you know me well, and you follow my reviews here, then you’ll know a 4.5 inches screen isn’t impressive to me at all.
It isn’t so cool…
HARDWARE AND MEMORY
Well, so disappointing I must say, for this phone to have a mere 1 GB RAM. It possesses a 8 GB memory which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a micro SD card. The sensors available on the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE include the Accelerometer, proximity and light sensor. You weren’t expecting the fingerprint sensor, were you?
The camera of the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE has a fairly good camera quality but would still not be loved by selfie lovers because the ‘fair’ comment can only pass for the rear camera, the front facing camera can as well be regarded as having a very bad cameea quality.
The primary camera (rear) has an 8 MP camera quality while the secondary camera (front facing) can only boast of a mere 2 MP camera quality, bad isn’t it? The camera is a no no for me.
MULTIMEDIA AND CONNECTIVITY
The phone supports the WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, WiFi Direct and hotspot. Its Bluetooth is v4.0 and it supports GPS with A-GPS, GLONAS. USB is a microUSB v2.0.
It has a Li-ion battery of 2070 mAh capacity. It doesn’t support fast charging while its Power Management is by Marshmallow’s Battery Saving mode. Need I mention that the battery is removable.
Now, to be highly sincere, I am not impressed at all with the battery capacity. They sure can do a lot better than that.
Well well, this is a very important section which determines so many things. The price of the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE is pegged at ₦45,000 in Nigeria, KSh 10,544 in Kenya, GH₵ 444 in Ghana, Rs. 6999 in India, ¥715.35 in China, $103 in the united States, £84 in the United Kingdom and €99 in Europe.
