The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 really looks very much like an iPad. It has the same look, design, almost the same screen size as the Apple iPad but very much thinner than the iPad. I think what Asus is trying to do is to give customers who can’t afford to purchase the Apple iPad a very close and similar alternative.

The Asus ZenPad 3S 10 has an all round metal casing. There’s a gentle curve on the edges have a gentle curve to them which makes it comfortable to hold.

The top-right corner of the device houses then volume and power buttons. The home button can be found on the front of the device. The home button also doubles as a fingerprint scanner, which is very fast in unlocking the tablet.

The “Back” and “Multitasking” capacitive touch buttons which lights up whenever pressed are found flanked beside the home button.

On the top of the device, there’s a 3.5mm headphone socket, while the bottom is home to a USB Type-C port and two “NXP Amp powered speakers” (which is also speaker location of an iPad). The tablet is also quite light at 430g.

Asus ZenPad 3S 10 boasts of a 9.7-inch screen size, with a 1536 x 2048 resolution. The Asus VisualMaster technology makes the display and enhances the screen appearance, contrast and clarity of display.

The ZenPad 3S 10 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow but utilizes the Asus ZenUI… which is a very colourful and bright UI by the way.

Asus packed in a hexa-core Mediatek (MTK) 8176 processor that’s made up of two 2.1GHz ARM Cortex A72 cores and four 1.7GHz ARM Cortex A53 cores.

Graphical processes of the Asus ZenPad are handled by the PowerVR GX6250 and 4GB of RAM. This is one thing gamers and users of multiple apps would love about the ZenPad 3S 10. 4GB RAM?!? That’s huge!

The ZenPad 3S 10 tablet comes in a 32GB and 64GB Internal storage variants. This is enough disk space to store documents, movies, music files and all other important stuff. A good one from Asus. Interestingly, they both could be expanded up to 128GB with the use of an external SD card.

Unfortunately, the ZenPad falls short of expectations in this area. Sporting an 8MP shooter on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera. Another letdown about the shooters is the absence of flashlights, both on the rear and the selfie cam.

However, both cameras are capable of recording at 1080p Full HD video.

Conclusively, we bring you the most interesting and fun part of the Asus Zenpad 3S 10 – the large battery juice!

This tablet sports a 5900mAh battery pack. This battery power coupled with the 4GB RAM, Hexa-cores and 2.1 GHz processor speed is every gamers dream! Movie addicts too would find this really cool.

You can surely carry the Asus ZenPad 3S 10 to places with all confidence and without the fear of not having your charger nearby and even in the case of power outage.
